A Brief Explanation of Chiropractic

Your brain controls all of the cells of your body, by sending messages to them through your nerves. If one of the vertebrae is out of alignment, then the nerves and other tissues can get irritated, preventing the message from making it from the brain to some part of the body. If a part of the body can not receive the message from the brain, then that part of the body can not work properly, and can result in all kinds of problems. Chiropractic works to take the pressure off of the nerves, and allow the brain to send its messages to all of the parts of the body.

Q: Will my insurance cover chiropractic care?
A. Most chiropractic care is covered by the insurance companies, which recognize the value of chiropractic care. Our services are also covered by Automobile Insurance, for those who are injured in auto accidents. Medicare is also accepted. There is usually a co-payment and deductable with health insurance. Our staff is able to find out what those payments would be. If you're not sure whether your insurance company will cover treatment by our office, call our office, 650-212-3111 and give us your insurance information. We will call them for you then let you know.

Q: What if I don't have insurance or if my insurance company offers little, or no chiropractic coverage?
A. Our office provides affordable chiropractic care. After your evaluation, you will get an estimate of how long your treatment will take and how much it will cost. We offer consultations at no cost, so if chiropractic care is not right for you, there is no cost.
